WHAT IS A PAMPHLET?
*A pamphlet is an unbound booklet (that is, without a hard cover or binding). It may consist of a single sheet of paper that is printed on both sides and folded in half, in thirds, or in fourths (called a leaflet), or it may consist of a few pages that are folded in half and stapled at the crease to make a simple book.
Pamphlets can contain anything from information on kitchen appliances to medical information and religious treatises. Pamphlets are very important in marketing as they are cheap to produce and can be distributed easily to customers. Pamphlets have also long been an important tool of political protest and political campaigning for similar reasons.
WHILE CREATING YOUR PAMPHLET, PAY ATTENTION TO THESE ELEMENTS:
*Make your decision about your topic, and your intended audience (to whom you will address in your pamphlet: young adults, students at a collage or in a university, common citizens, housewives or some people who have some diseases).
*Pay attention to your topic because it should be related with the theme of mind-body connection (You should benefit from the articles in your course book).
*Choose the right format for your pamphlet.
*Enter a suitable and effective title into your pamphlet.
*Insert some pictures related with your topic.
*Add some graphics if it is necessary.
*Describe the problem that you are talking about, give some detailed information about the problem, and then give your advices about that problem. Don’t forget that the reader will learn something about this problem and you are giving advices like a professional (You should make some research in order to give consistent and reasonable information about the problem that you are talking about.).
*In the end, list your sources.
*Give an address, telephone number or an internet address for more detailed information about the problem.
NOTE: When you have created your pamphlet please have a colorful print. In addition, while creating your pamphlet you can benefit from these programs and sites:
